Railay Princess Resort & Spa, Railay Beach

The hotel offers lovely, modern, clean rooms with a fantastic shower, but there seemed to be a significant issue with flies at the buffet which put us off dining. The mini bar items and leftover food in rooms were described as absolutely disgusting.

The hotel is situated just in front of a water pump and a past sewage tank, but the rooms in the new building are very beautiful. While there was a smell like an oxide, it could be disguised by turning on the air conditioning or opening the windows of the terrace. The service provided vegetarian options upon request, though the speed could be improved. The location is really good and convenient, with a beautiful garden and a super nice swimming pool at the back. The dining experience, while okay, was a little disappointing due to a limited range of offerings. Overall, the value for money was decent considering the drawbacks.

The hotel offers a mix of new and old rooms; while the newer infinity pool-side rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely kitted out, the standard rooms in building 3 are starting to feel a bit dated. The service was mostly professional, but there were occasional lapses in warmth. The location, although convenient for East Pier access, lacks cleanliness in the surrounding area. The dining experience stands out with a wide array of delicious options; however, the Italian dishes could use improvement.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were just excellent, offering a great view and were large and comfortable. The service was kind, though improvement in service speed would be beneficial. The location was great and very close to Pranang Cave Beach, which was perfect for us. The dining experience was a little disappointing but still nice. Overall, a lovely experience with some small areas for enhancement.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very modern, clean, and spacious, equipped with all necessary amenities, but they were loud, and we had issues with water leakage. The service was friendly and helpful overall, although there was a slight hiccup when showing my booking from Booking. The location was convenient as it was near the West Railay path but required a long tail boat for access, which was a bit inconvenient. The dining experience offered a good selection but lacked some variety. The facilities were good but could use some remodeling to enhance the overall experience.
